So I finally got my bronze piece back. I have so much work to do on it before it's finished. Here are some pics of the whole process. Kinda funny! I know I am so dang hot in flannel and face masks! I do what I can. I am really excited about it! I really hope it turns out okay. The process was hard! I had to make a mold out of wax, which is not as easy as it may appear. Then it had to be attached to a base and dipped in slurry and covered in sand. I had to dip it probably 8 times. Crazy long because you had to wait 6 hours between each dip. Anyway, that's my sweet bronze casting story.
